The PierTech Dealer Training Program

June 30, 2013 / in Press Release / by Admin

In the current economic climate, many companies and individuals are either looking to retrain or to add new skills to their resume. PierTech Systems, the helical pier and foundation solution specialists, are currently offering free three-day engineering seminars for construction firms looking to expand their areas of expertise by becoming an authorized PierTech dealer.

The PierTech system is a fully engineered foundation system with many applications. With more than 50 years’ experience in helical piering design and manufacture, the St. Louis-based firm fully understands the importance of comprehensive dealer training. Their dealer training staff has years of experience in the field, and their goal is to pass on this expertise in a way that ensures both the safety and profitability of a dealer.

The well established PierTech dealer training program involves both technical and hands-on training in the contractors’ native soil. The program also teaches the science of torque ratio to load capacity and soil mechanics in a way that is both easy to learn and understand.

Kevin Kaufman, CEO of the company specializing in tilt-up anchor systems and helical anchors, said, “Our free seminars are essential training for anyone looking to become a PierTech dealer and we insist that all our dealers undertake this training program. The three-day event includes modules on understanding foundation designs, identifying and understanding the reasons for foundation failure, soil mechanics and load testing.”

The events also include a full tutorial on the safe operation and maintenance of PierTech systems installation equipment as well as the PierTech piering systems installation methods and processes. It is a ‘must attend’ course for anyone looking to become an authorized PierTech dealer.

Mr. Kaufman added, “It is important to mention that these courses are specifically designed for people looking to become PierTech dealers and that they are not for the general public. Once individuals complete the PierTech dealer training program, our engineering and technical support staff remains on hand to provide support, whether it is over the phone or on a job site.”

The last PierTech dealer training seminar was held in Saint Louis, Missouri, on September 9-11th, 2009. PierTech holds seminars every four to six weeks.
